Petzl Sirocco helmet

I have to rave about this helmet as I was wearing it when I tumbled head over heels in a glacier/crevasse in Broad Peak.  I hit my head multiple times but each time I was OK.  Some of these hits were big.

There are many reviews on this helmet on the web, but my quick review is about me actually using it in anger...and coming out the otherside uninjured.  Very happy :-)

The pictures will show very little marks on the helmet even though I tumble-rolled...which was probably better than a big flat hit.

What I like about this helmet:
1) It works well!
2) It is super lightweight.
3) Fantastic bright orange colour...I have nil style.

What could be improved:
4) Strap adjustments.
5) Better shape style so that you don't look like you have a penis on your head.
6) Magnetic rachet does not always secure first go and needs to be checked.

I think the most important thing is that it works as a helmet perfectly and there is very little marks on it.  Fantastic...still food for more climbing use.  It is bright and looks great, if you don't mind looking like a d**khead :-)
