We set off from Skopje to Lake Ohrid this morning. Only 3hrs total driving.
The town is not much yo look at as you drive in. Once uou reach the tourist lake side you can see it is a very nice place to relax.
A castle at the top, a church by the water and old street architecture.
The water is the drinking reservoir. It is crystal clear and clean. It would be great to swim in it once the sun comes out.
Walking the streets you see the things you had missed out on during the daytime orientation. Excellent place to rest. I can see why the domestic locals goliday here.
My hotel room was also spacious.
