My overnight sleep was poor. There was quite a lot of noise until 1am. This would be my normal bedtime back in Australia but not on holidays. My poor sleep may also have been attributed to the espresso I had at dinner.
I had a simple English breakfast. It wasn't the best but was enough to last me until dinner time.
Today's main visit was to Matka Canyon. We took a boat to the famous cave.
After the cave we chose to do a short 3.6km hike along the edge of the canyon to the starting point of the canyon.
When we arrived back to the hotel, I needed much more activity. So I took a couple of the NZ tour group members to a Skopje tour. The American member joined us (he had already done all the things that I had).
I was having some fun with NZ1...who for some reason didn't take many photos. You know me...I am the exact opposite. I need to see everything in detail and photograph it.
Overall a good day of sightseeing.
Lucky the small tour group of only four members appear not to be psycho. Appear to get on well on the first day. Let's see if we all get sick of each other by the end.
