As we headed towards Tirana, the capital of Albania, we stopped quickly at the seaside town of Durres. I was hoping to dip my toes in the Adriatic Sea. Lucky I didn't! There must have been raw sewerage being pumped right by the beach. It stank like there was no tomorrow. You may be able to see the brown colour in the water.
What a shame.
The things I do to get a photo.
Tirana, is such a modern and happening city. It has some great architecture.
At night, this is a living city with so much activity. It leaves places such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane etc in it's dust.
Kosovo and Albania have some of the most beautiful people around.
This is the type of place I could live in.
