I purchased a day tour to visit the three waterfalls in Antalya. At the last minute the tour was cancelled The reason given was that one of the waterfalls has low water. I had to quickly arrange for an alternate tour that covered one of my mandatory requirements.
There was only one choice -an Old City with waterfalls and cruise (to see one of the waterfalls). This is the most popular tour in Antalya. I wasn't keen on this as the Old City tour was already done by myself yesterday. Most people can easily do this themselves. The only reason to do this tour was for the waterfalls.
Our first stop was at Dudan Falls (Upper). This was a nice area. It was a small falls tourist area but had great sightseeing vantage points. Definitely worrh a visit.
The next stop was a 'jewellery place'. A waste of time (like carpet making stores). An hour of my life that I will not get back. This always happens with these kind of day trips.
*However, the three Indians did choose ti stay longer to buy something. We left without them. So, we could have left much earlier if the 'consumers' had made their own intentions clear earlier.
Lunch is always tasty. Standard Turkish.
Then it was off to the Lower Dudan Falls. It didn't look like too much but cascading water has an impact when it flows off a big height. It looks better from the boat cruise, but the pictures taken on a 28mm equivalent lens camera ( better for street photography) doesn't do it justice.
