I got to sleep in today. I didn't leave the apartment until 10am! One final walk around Split. I even headed over towards the suburbs to get a feel of the non-tourist areas.
The first full day in Split was pouring with rain, second day was cloudy that turned into sunshine pretty quickly (great for the island tour), and today, it rained 'heavy' and the thunderstorm approached at 1:30pm (lasted for 1/2hr). One of the loudest thunderstorms I have ever heard. Luckily I had seen everything that needed to be seen before then.
I have eaten well (too many gelatos in a waffle cone) and now I have time to plan for Istanbul tomorrow.
