From 9:00am to 2:00pm hotel to hotel.
Check-in to the hotel in Göreme followed by lunch.
We had the afternoon to do the Baglidere Vadisi -Love Valley walk. I then went and walked the rest of Göreme...why not?
Tomorrow will be a tour of the other non-Göreme sites, so best to get a full appreciation of the town/village when you can.
I have to say, this place is epic. It is very impressive how the tourism architecture melds right into the environment. Very high class and looks 'perfect'.
You cannot always expect things to be protected behind glass. A balance has to be made. I think this tourist town has done a great job. Let's hope it doesn't destroy the 'value' and 'essence' of why tourists visit. If it gets overdeveloped, then the tourism income will disappear. Tourists are fickle.
I decided not to do the hot air balloon. All it adds is a photo opportunity, but, I prefer the views from the top of mountains.
