2024 Dec-India Sat 28. Udaipur.

This was not just a transit day. The entire afternoon was free.

I naturally smashed the streets seeing only a glimpse of the place. Udaipur is not as hectic as Delhi, but the narrower streets make it just as challenging to navigate. You always think that a tuk tuk will clip you.

The hotel we are staying is so close to the lake. It is also a multi storey building that has amazing views over the water and towards the City Palace.

The city is filled by lakes. These lakes have walls around them and you see the lake via accessible points or via the bridges. Udaipur is apparently famous because a lot of Bollywood comes to this location for filming. Every single Indian loves to either do their own video shoot or they LOVE to pose for a photo. Maybe I am not observing correctly. It is funny to watch people posing. Lucky I enjoy being behind the camera, like doing street photography and landscapes.

This city has a lot to offer to those that enjoy photography.

Tomorrow will be the first and only full day in the city.
