It was a 4.5hr coach bus ride to Antalya. Most of the drive was via the Mediterranean Sea coast. The scenery was wonderful.
By 12pm it was time to do Antalya. It is a big city but most of the tourist sites are in, and around the old town/port by the water. It surprisingly reminds me of Lima, Peru. That is because of the cliff edge next to the sea.
We were staying at th Hotel Karyatit Kaleiçi which was right in the walled town. Very central with a pool.
Swimming in Antalya looks as good as anywhere else along the Mediterranean, with beautiful clear waters. But I am 'swam out' after Kekova. I don't want too much more sun exposure.
I did my usual thing and saw most of Antalya town area. This is apparently where a lot of the Russians have relocated.
The city (main tourist area) is not as large as I had first thought. You can see most of the place in half a day. I just did a self-exploring afternoon.
