I had a solid day to do all the remaining things that were outstanding for Dubrovnik.
I started off by visiting the Maritime Museum but it was closed!
I then went to the Rector's Palace. I nearly had the entire place to myself! I don't think that the cruise ships had their clients landed on shore at that time.
I have captured most of the museum in photos. Enjoy.
As my bus did not leave for Split until 3pm I had a lot of time to look around. On my list was Fort Lovrijenac/Tvrđava Lovrijenac. Excellent views looking back at the old town walls.
I decided to walk around the wall and onto Komarda rock beach. Only a couple of people there. Another great location for photos.
There wasn't much ledt for me to do so I walked 30mins back to the hotel via the various seaside streets. It gives you a feeling of how people live.
Catching the Flixbus to Split was easy. I had booked seat 1A to get the best views. Some couple were seated in 1A (and 1B). I kindly said that they were in the wrong seat (they obviously knew it was not their assigned seat).
The new Peljesac Bridge meant that you stayed in Croatia. You no longer needed to cross two borders which makes the travel much easier.
